This guide is from the Sacramento Valley Section APA CA Guide to Young Planners Groups.  The guide highlights our experience starting a Young Planners Group (YPG) and the direction and recommendations of the APA Young Planners Taskforce. The guide reviews the history of the YPG movement and explains how to organize and start a YPG program.  The guide also outlines major reasons why young professionals deserve special attention, how YPG can benefit APA, and what APA as an organization can do to meet the needs of young planners.
